Did you purchase an HK416/MR556 and find the hand guard to be… lacking? The Maxim Defense HK416/MR556 Handguard is your salvation. They are machined from 6061 aluminum, hard coat anodized for increased wear and corrosion resistance, and feature M-Slots on five sides. All lengths and styles feature QD mounts on each side for low profile sling mounting. These hand guards are only compatible with Maxim Defense PDX/MDX receivers and those with HK MR556 mounting styles.

    Picked up the 9″ long scoop for a BRN-4 with a 16″ barrel…
    Fit and finish are superb, even the locating tab on the rail fit the receiver without having to use
    the plastic shim…
    This handguard is superior to any on the market. It is slim in diameter and affords a perfect grip.
    The only feature I would question are the QD mounts. They do not appear to be steel. If this is the case, I would doubt their wear properties. Since steel QDs can easily be mounted on the M-Slots,
    this is not a major concern.
    Simply the best.
