Our M-Kore design is different. And it’s only three pieces.
M-Kore Technology actually provides the low back pressure of a monocore silencer (historically loud with little gas leaked to the shooter) with the sound suppression of traditional M baffles (normally very quiet with more gas leaked to the shooter’s face).
We’ve fused them together to bring you a suppressor technology that is extremely quiet and enjoyable to shoot.

M-Kore™ Technology treats your firearm well. You’ll experience increased reliability and service life of your firearm. M-Kore equipped silencers increase the cyclic rate of your firearm at a fraction of the speed traditional silencers do.
Maybe best of all, each M-Kore model is fully user-serviceable with common tools, ultra-quiet, and upgradeable.
Shooting your silencer will get it dirty. When a silencer has too much carbon buildup sound suppression suffers. The nooks and crannies of traditional baffle stacks are nearly impossible to effectively clean. The Monokore has ample spacing and minimal surface area, giving you room to apply your elbow grease when and where it’s needed. Just another example of how user experience is at the forefront of our design.
WE FIRST CONQUERED THE KING
One of the most difficult firearms to suppress is a belt-fed weapon system. So we started there. If we could successfully suppress an M240 then we could adapt that technology to anything.
That’s exactly what we did. Our M240 silencer has passed with flying colors. We put it through the ringer with no noticeable degradation.
THE MATERIAL MATTERS
M-Kore Technology has been carried across most of our silencer lineup.
The main difference between the various rifle silencer series are the materials used. We are essentially choosing the material you need based on your firearms of choice and shooting style.
Your barrel length, shooting schedule, and caliber will determine your cost. We don’t want to corner you into a more expensive silencer if you don’t need it.
For example, a precision rifle shooter or hunter does not need the durability or expense of Grade 5 Titanium. You’ll get the same unsurpassed sound suppression with our PRS series as you will with the more expensive DS series, so why pay for it if you don’t need it? On the flip side, aluminum silencers simply won’t handle the pressure of short barrels or heavy firing schedules.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
MSX Suppressors by Maxim Defense have been well thought out, thoroughly tested, and deliver results for every shooting style. That doesn’t mean we’re stopping there. As engineers of endurance, we are constantly investigating the best materials and methods of silence. But at least with an M-Kore™ equipped silencer, you’ll have a suppressor we can upgrade without going through the NFA process again.
