One of the main benefits of the RDB system is its ability to install on Most Mil-Spec AR-15/AR-9 easily. The Carbin Length RDB system replaces the buffer and spring of your AR-9, making it simple and easy to install.
The CQB Length RDB system works with Maxim Defense CQB Length Buffer Tubes Only, ensuring a seamless fit and maximum performance. (NOTE: THE RDB System is compatible with most 9mm BCGs on the market. See Below)

Installation NOTE:
The Roller Delayed Blowback System requires an open channel in your 9mm bolt assembly for the guide rod to pass during fire. For most bolts, this will require you to remove the pinned-in central mass. This central mass must be removable to allow the BCG to function correctly with the RDB; the bolt must remain at its full length without it the central mass removed. Please note that the specifics of this process can vary slightly depending on the make and model of your BCG. Always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions when possible. If you’re not comfortable performing this process yourself, consider seeking assistance from a qualified gunsmith. Remember, modifying a firearm can affect its operation and safety. Always test your firearm in a safe and controlled environment after any modification to ensure it is operating correctly.

If you have an ar9 (in my case, ar-v) and especially if you run it suppressed or plan to, this is an awesome product… reduced port pop on my ar9 mutant build and considerably reduced felt recoil, similar to an mp5 (however, there is only one mp5 imo). LRBHO functions more reliably on my platform now (zero failures over dozens of mags). I now experience somewhat less gas to the face. It will make your weapon more difficult to charge, but an extended latch on my charging handle mitigates the added difficulty well enough. If you remove the product to inspect /clean, be careful not to lose any of the roller bearings. Product is not terribly expensive and very easy to install. Customer service/support was EXCELLENT. I’m just the little guy in this game but they treated me like I was a contract on a few hundred items for a LE department, taking time to call me back and conference call several technically knowledgeable staff members to answer my question. Very confidence inspiring experience based on both the product and the people backing it up.Thanks Maxim, I’ll be back.
